Celtic chase U.S. soccer ace Bradley

Celtic are on the trail of American soccer ace Michael Bradley.

The Hoops are keen on the Heerenveen midfielder after his impressive performances for the United States in this summer's under-20 World Cup in Canada.

Parkhead star finders John Park and Ray Clarke both came back with glowing reports about the 19-year-old playmaker and have told Gordon Strachan that he should try to sign him.

If it works out, I am sure Mike Bradley will not get involved in the silly sectarian squabbles after every Celtic/Rangers games.

Either Celtic or Rangers in the SPL are good clubs to get noticed internationally.

Interesting. Celtic are also going after Szetela who plays the same position/role as Bradley. Freddy, Bradley, and Szetela.....Looks like Celtic is hoping that the US players will fly enough under the radar that they can make a swoop. - T.K.

I guess he would not qualify for a work permit as he does not have the 75% of senior games he would require. He is still young however and can take time to accumulate those games.
