So far for the MLS Winter transfer window: 59 MLS foreign signings this Winter, only nine of those players are age 30 or older.

12 ownership groups submit MLS expansion applications, for the next 4 spots:

Was talking about the expansion with someone I sat next to last night in Chattanooga. He said Nashville was primed to receive one of those spots.

Does not matter to me we got our team...an for that I am very happy.

I am sure you clearly remember how this league started. (Bush league some referred it). Look at it now. It is going to rival it's European counterparts.

I keep looking at the AUFC squad, and they are definitely one of the teams I want to see play. I think they're going to be an exciting & attacking team - Miguel Almirón, Yamil Asad, Hector Villalba, Josef Martinez, etc., with Gerardo Martino coaching. Plus they have a lot of young players.

The league has gotten waaaaaaay better and continuing to improve, with teams investing more in their academies, and coaches getting better training.......Heard some news about my hometown team, DC United, and it seems they're finally ready to open the wallet - along with the new stadium (LONG OVERDUE), they plan to launch their own USL team & build a state-of-the-art training facility. I guess Thohir is spending some of that money he made from the Inter Milan deal.......Heard LAFC has serious plans to acquire Mexican duo Chicharito Hernández & Héctor Herrera, plus 2 more HIGH PROFILE players, and former Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera (now coaches Club Tijuana). I guess they're planning to take away some of LA Galaxy's fans.......Heard that New York Red Bulls received a nice offer for their franchise & stadium, from a group headed by a TOP European team. I wonder if it's PSG, because they wanted to partner with Beckham in Miami, but they couldn't come to an agreement.

The next 5 to 10 years in MLS should be exciting & interesting.

No NEW Jamaican players entered MLS this season.......MLS teams seem to be more focused on players from South & Central (Costa Rica, Panama & Honduras) America, and West Africa. Also signing quite a few young Europeans.

AUFC has a Jamaican. Last December they acquired Romario Williams, from Montreal Impact, for a 2018 MLS 3rd Round Draft Pick.

You think AUFC is still interested in signing Andrés Guardado???.......With teams signing all these Designated Players, I think the league will soon increase the number of DPs to 4 per team.
