Claffy: Comprehension , ambition and the reality ( of)....are two different things , I would love to win the C.L, FA cup, EFL and CL every season , the reality is attaining top 4 would be a victory, winning the title is the cherry on top.If my team wins a consolation cup,its a small victory.

The REAL 5th Columnist a call me out for citing the top six... and misses the point that these are who the contenders are for the title , AT THIS TIME.
Granted, ManU and Spurs at 13 and 10 pts. off the pace don't look too good.
Another point, the loss last week looms even larger now; and while the REAL 5th Columnist pointed to X number of matches without a loss, he, as usual, failed to see the implications of that loss given the current standings. That loss, of all matches where we lost points (so including draws), is still painful for me.
Now, all is not lost, but the other clubs aren't going to be just standing around admiring Klopp's moves.

Five dropped points against lower league competition in a year where we have "no europe" and a decent squad is not the mark of a title contender...and we should be! The gaffer has to fix this. While he is getting a lot of criticism, you can't fault the keeper - THE TEAM has to take the blame and most of all the skipper - he is not showing Gerrard-esque leadership on the field imo. Those pieces of skill...technical skill...fall within "to die for"! It felt so good watching the purpose = tactical aim - (= Brain at work) - and the technical execution!
Yup! That is why we watch matches...love this game...the shivers that observation of the fusing of wonderful 'brain work' = tactical nous and technical skill brings!
