Did I misread that we played Argentina UNDER-17 team ?
Argentina does not have another 20 players in their Under-20 program they could have sent? This is a country of almost 40 million people.Last edited by Tilla; July 19, 2007, 07:59 PM."Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. What point are we trying to make with this age discussion? Without a doubt, the Argentine players are all connected to a professional club, the likes of which Jamaica will not see any time soon. They are probably, in all reality, professional players.
Furthermore, had we known they were U-17 before the match, I'm sure we still would not have given our Boyz any chance of beating them.
Dem get dem buss and we gave it to them good and proppah! In fact, from what I saw of their senior team last week, I think the Reggae Boyz senior team (not Bora's Asian unit) could take those Argies too!
