..and while Origi scored a beauty, he gave the ball away (soft pass straight to the Bournemouth player) that resulted in their second goal!

The ball is round... and the defence needs to step up to the plate!! set pieces ah kill wi... that killer instinct seems to be lacking.

Anyway, as HL said, it's not half time yet... so let's wait and see.

Hopefully HL learned a lesson.Whereas Origi oversight proved costly,I felt that Mane's, after scoring a fantastic goal, decisions were suspect. This is important to note because with Courtinho out,a player like Sturridge was needed to ask questions of the opponent's defense.
Like I said, there will be those typical hiccups, and likely it will be the minnows..
I really enjoyed watching the game!

Rockman, the problem IMO is not the the offence as much as the defence. I'm not an expert, but after being up 3-1 with what, fifteen minutes to go (plus added time) we let in three!!! uneffingacceptable!

Well the same way you scored three in 45 minutes, the opponent has 45 minutes to score two to secure a draw.
Scoring opportunities should be thwarted by good defenders abd not poor decisions by strikers.

Your timing is impeccable, now is the best time to take a vacation.

For whatever business of yours it is,a conceivable victory was once again snatched away from my side very late in the game , but it could have been worse.
We at least earned a point on the road,it could have been an home game in which we were whipped 3-1.

My point Rockman, is that with 15 minutes of regular time to play, and you're up by two...allowing three goals in that time is UNacceptable at this level.
To help you out... with two minutes to go you give up a stupid penalty to drop two points! Capice?
