  • Pep Guardiola is Leading a Revolution

the dazzling feast Manchester City served up made some of United's play look prehistoric
A feast of energy and skill, of technique and commitment. A move towards a more technical style of play
Manchester City's performance in the first 40 minutes in particular gave this occasion the feel of a new dawn for domestic English footbal
We have seen it plenty of times before. Barcelona or Real Madrid or Juventus humiliating one of our sides with their technique and making an English club side look lumpen and clumsy. Except this was not Barcelona or Real Madrid. This was City. And it was glorious to watch.

Missing to you is they could not replicate that performance in the second half, and Barca is Barca over a span of 90 minutes.

The onus is on City beating Man U on the return leg,we will do all the tweaking by then, and know what to expect from City.
City did draw first blood though, but the battle is far from over.

And what of thistcorrelation between Pep being at City and similarities between Barca and City,City has always played in that fashion since..

Suh your £100+million star Paul Pogba with The assist for City. Many thanks

And to know our squad was not at full strength. ........

Players getting to know the strength and weaknesses of their teammates, that is probably your explanation of the roller coaster results and table standings for your team in the last handful of years.
You guys took all three points but other than the delusional so-called pundits on BBC website, the consensus is Man U's dignity remained intact.
