Pathetic! - Haiti blank Boyz 2-0 to claim bragging rights
Reggae Boyz fall 0-2 to Haiti to close World Cup campaign

The curtain came down on Jamaica’s CONCACAF qualifying Group B campaign pretty much like it started — with a pathetic loss inside the National Stadium.

Last November it was a 0-2 defeat to Panama, while last night it was a 0-2 spanking at the hands of Caribbean neighbours Haiti.

Kevin Lafrance scored the opener for the visitors in the 68th minute in front of approximately 2,000 in attendance at the stadium. And Duckens Nazon ensured the Haitians’ first win in the semi-final round of the 2018 World Cup qualifying with an 88th-minute strike.

Jamaica, who had beaten Haiti 1-0 in the away fixture in Port-au-Prince, finished with four points.

Well it is reassuring that the media did not take a soft approach to this abject failure due to the JFF throwing the coach under the bus before they even started an investigation, it (appeasing the media)could have been one of Burrell's contingencies.
The office is a mixed basket, the football field represents an insurmountable hurdle and its outskirts (the track)represents global excellence.I am sure the UB40 players will be sure to rreminisceabout walking on the track to get to the field,a great story for them to tell the grandchildren.
    The contrast is striking.

I am NOT reassured by Jamaican media. It pretty much reflects typical Jamaican institutions and Jamaican elites...politically tribalized, backward, myopic, class/color-prejudiced, personality-focused instead of systems analysis-oriented and lacking in critical thought or innovation ... i.e. NOT EVOLVED

That's the Jamaican picture....not just the JFF or media...politricks, business sector, civil society etc etc etc

Of course there are individuals who break that mould... But this describes the dominant group-think

That's so ingrained that's it's a mental disease of national proportions...which holds us back

How the JFF operates is merely a representation of that backward group-think
