DEVELOP Jamaica's soccer.......Get QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED people that can Effectively & Efficiently develop & implement a National Soccer Development Program (for coaches, players, trainers & management personnel) FOR Jamaica.......Once again, here's a list of QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED people that have a DIRECT connection to Jamaica -

Gary Gordon – qualified & respected youth development coach at Borussia Dortmund, since 1992. One of his many successful students is Mario Götze.
Lorne Donaldson – qualified & respected youth development coach in the U.S., with U.S. & Brazilian coaching license, as well as a degree in Physical Education & Sports Medicine. His students (male & female) have represented the U.S. at various levels, with 2 presently representing the U.S. He’s also one of the founders of the U.S. Black Soccer Coaches Association, whose goal was to help minority coaches in the U.S., Caribbean & Africa get quality training, certification & experience.
Lenny Taylor – qualified & respected youth development coach in the U.S. Holds a U.S. ‘A’ coaching license, UEFA B license, F.A. Elite Player Development Diploma and is a FIFA instructor. Some of his students have represented the U.S., and was once appointed as a regional youth development coach for U.S. Soccer.
Noel Blake – holds a UEFA Pro license. Was head coach of the England U19 team & led them to the semifinals of both the 2010 & 2012 U19 Euros.
Roger Thomas – qualified & respected youth development coach in the U.S., with U.S. & Dutch coaching license. Runs his soccer academy in Florida.
Paul Hall – holds UEFA Pro license. He has been a tutor – teaching & instructing soccer; sports psychology & sports analysis. Has held head coaching positions at different age groups, and is now the Senior Professional Development Coach at Queens Park Rangers FC.
Fitzroy Simpson – holds a UEFA B license. All his positions, thus far, have been focused on youth development.
Justin Cresser – holds a U.S. coaching license, Masters in Exercise Physiology and is a certified strength & conditioning specialist. He’s a respected youth development coach and strength & conditioning trainer, as well as the co-creator of an innovative conditioning program to improve strength, speed & agility.

PLUS - There are 3 Jamaicans, that I know of, who are on MLS coaching staffs. I'm sure you can work with those teams to provide internships. There are also opportunities for internships in Germany & England.

rotating the coach every four years dont fix the problem. All those names ,well ost of those names are good... but until burrell allow learned and experience people to dictate the way forward it is futile. YOu are doing the same thing over and over and asking for different results. I see now he i trying to use some technicality to fire the man with cause...... So predictable.

Oh S..T!!! Didn't think of that. Thought QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & TRACK RECORD would be most important.......Let me see if any of those listed would be willing to BLEACH.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

COACH???.......You FIRST need properly developed players to COACH. Players who know how to play soccer at a HIGH level........My concern, right now, is NOT with who is hired to COACH the ReggaeBoyz, rather it's with getting QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED people to develop QUALITY youth players.
Those I have listed FOCUS on DEVELOPING/TEACHING youth players how to properly play the game, and almost all ALSO help to develop/teach those who are interested in effectively teaching the game.
If JAMAICANS want to continue giving Burrell complete control to further FLUSH their soccer future down the crapper, then maybe they should just play the game recreationally & FOCUS everything on TRACK & FIELD.

Have you looked at the Icelandic model on development? We need an academy to churn out qualified coaches across the island.

If you check again you’ll see that the FOUNDATION of the “Iceland Model” wasn’t achieved through an academy, but by the proactive KSI, Iceland’s governing body…….The MOST IMPORTANT thing the KSI did was to REVAMP ICELAND’S COACHING EDUCATION, to improve the teaching young players received, thereby improving the overall youth development system. The KSI provided affordable courses, in Iceland, to offset the travel expenses coaches had to incur to get certified, which helped hundreds of coaches earn their UEFA B & A licenses.
As I have said before, use the QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED individuals listed above to formulate a Jamaica National Coaching Development Program, to produce QUALITY teachers who will develop good, quality players. The JFF can then develop partnerships, in the U.S. & Europe, to get the most promising, MORE training & certification.

Most of these are hustlers looking for a paycheck, most see coaching as a job. JFF needs people who love the game and get paid to coach rather people who are paid to coach.
Captain is an executive/administrator who doesn't understand the technical aspect of soccer, both on and off the field. We need executives who understand players skillsets and how those skillset complement other players around them. Jamaican soccer sucks right now.

Thanks USAF,thats what I have consistently advocated for,to me it's the cheapest most cost effective way to have a sustainable program of development.

When TD/ national coaches or national teams fail that coaching knowledge will reign supreme to push on through.
