Yes, I have been getting some emails from the franchise with closed and prospective deal for AU.

Signing Mexicans and South Americans will sell seats.

A one or two name brand tyiad legs from Europe won't do any harm either.

BTW: Very good perspective on the other board re the importance of economic development for Blacks.........
The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

It's going to be interesting, because I don't remember any MLS team doing this much investment & preparation for their inaugural season.......This will be GOOD for the league and push other teams to step up their game.......From what I've heard, they are targeting a BIG name Mexican player (still have interest in Guardado); they've signed an Irish player who played in the BPL & Championship, and they are in negotiations with a player in La Liga.

        Thanks.......

Got an e-mail, a few months ago, and it shows that AUFC is planning to take over and control the entire Southeastern U.S. soccer market - fans & youth talent.......They see North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee (all border states) & of course Georgia as theirs, and this is just for starters.......I like it, because it will pressure other teams to "step their game up".

talk to a friend who works in government in Tennessee and was a former player, he told me that they intend to bid on a MLS franchise down there.

I know the people from the Carolina will drive down and Alabama too. Trust me the Atlanta Metro area will have a big following as there is a huge kids soccer following that keeps on growing. ATL United already have a lot of season ticket holders.

There was rumblings about Nashville, BUT if Blank doesn't like it, he has enough PULL to stop it.......Charlotte was also preparing a proposal for a MLS franchise.......There are about 12 - 15 cities who have either made proposals or preparing proposals for a MLS franchise.
