  • Klopps 1st summer signing: A striker $ 50 million pounds.

This season, Karius averaged 2.1 saves per goal, compared to Mignolet’s 1.27 saves per goal, once again suggesting the German would be an upgrade on Liverpool’s current No. 1.

    DUNCE ...lol
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Any position that is "upgraded" by the coach is a welcome one, regardless of the position. If this goalie is better than Mignolet by all means get him while the getting is hot!

FYI, the stat that you cited could also suggest that the defensive capabilities of the respective teams are not on par.

And glad to see you signing your posts with an honest self-assessment!

Once again, our resident eedyat jumps to conclusions. The article states:

Signing Karius could see Klopp demote Mignolet to the role of backup goalkeeper in the long term, though whether he would make the transition immediately remains to be seen.

With Bogdan leaving and Ward on loan, I guess the forum's resident " ignoramus " wanted Klopp to promote Ibe to backup keeper. Like you, I love having competition for EVERY spot...it is what makes good teams great. The GK position, as should be the case with all positions, should not be a foregone conclusion for anyone. If JK thinks this fellow will do the trick and shake up Mignolet - or even replace him - more power to him. This season, he has to finish top 4 and challenge for the title in 2017-18. I hope he listens to me and figures out how to get a goal scoring midfielder in our ranks and a top notch striker.

Regardless, this year, our goal has to be consistency. The collapse against Southampton, Newcastle and recently against Sevilla tells me that we are great at the gengen pressing business in the FIRST HALF, but if it doesn't give us NUFF goals, we are prone to collapse in the second half. That has to be fixed.
