bias aside and start giving the USA some credit. Am I the only witnessing this?

I have to agree. They were playing some ball this eveling. When you combine the skills of Adu and Altidore, it made them even so much better.
The thing you have to be impressed with the USA is their teamwork. It does not matter who you have in a position, you always seem to get the same level of commitment from their players. You hardly see the selfish ball or showboating. . .
I still cannot believe it but I am sitting there cheering on the USA against a Brazil team."Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." ~ Kahlil Gibran

Adu is the only immigrant on the team, and he moved to the U.S. when he was only 8 years old.
All the rest were born and raised in the USA.
You need to do better research."Donovan was excellent. We knew he was a good player, but he really didn't do anything wrong in the whole game and made it difficult for us."

hate all you want but them have a decent program structure in place and that will alway help them to be at least to compete on the world level.- Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. Life is for living and I won't spend my life feeling cheated and downtrodden.

Altidore and Filhauber would not be if not for their roots.
Only the immigrants will lead you where you need to go.
That is just the way it is. Unless you black athletes start gravitating to football.

The USA is a country of immigrants, so your "observation" is nothing special.
Here's something else for you to ponder: every player on that U.S. team is a product of American soccer."Donovan was excellent. We knew he was a good player, but he really didn't do anything wrong in the whole game and made it difficult for us."

It will not be the Bradley's or Albright's that will lead you to the top. It will be the sons of those immigrants or in the case of Freddie, the immigrant. Maybe later down the line the football culture will be engrained in the families that been in the U.S. for ages.
