Thought he did ok in that position. I estimated he averaged about a 75% success in passing. He appears to play that position better than his defensive roll.....imo.

That was exactly what I told Schaefer after the second leg of the Nicaragua encounter

Jevaughn Watson was out of position when the Costa Rican defender started the build up.. for some reason he was at the 45 yard line moving forward when the Jamaica defender cleared the ball of the goal kick back to a Costa Rican player at the Costa Rican 45 yard line..

In the 10 seconds it took for the ball to get to the Costa Rican player who took the shot at our 18 yard line.. Watson remained out of position... actually WALKING back when the shot was taken.. it took him 10 seconds to recover 15 yards... him a forward now ? Attacking mid ?

All di ref was closer to the ball at that point (running towards the play) and him was 5 yards deeper than our defensive midfield player when the attack started..

Look like di goal get tuh Watson head.. if him nah run up an dung like robot and ah harass player in the 66th minute him need fi PAY fi get in like spectator !

Error was in defensive mid being waaay out of position and not getting back in position to provide numbers and shape..

Powell was outnumbered 3:1 in the 18 yard box on the rebound !
