Jurgen Klopp has defended Liverpool’s decision not to bolster their strikeforce during the transfer window as he told supporters: “Trust us.”

The Reds’ inactivity on deadline day meant that on-loan defender Steven Caulker was the only new addition to the squad in January.

As I said, we have the wrong owners. I speculate that FSG told him how his summer budget would be affected if he spends now and he's (wisely) decided not to chase a lost cause choosing instead to save his pennies (compared to City's dollaz) for bigger moves in summer.
