The pool of players look very deep. I estimate that I know maybe 40% of the current squad.

Didn't watch it yesterday. Wasn't going to sacrifice time with the family for a game like that.

Watched a recording not too long ago -
1. Why is Zardes still in the USMNT??? Didn't agree with his continued inclusion last year and still don't see why he's still there.......Poor 1st touch; uncomfortable with the ball at his feet; can't dribble; can't exploit space; poor finisher; can't hold up the ball; poor passer = Have no business being on the USMNT.......How can they call Zardes over Sebastian Lletget???

2. Altidore looks in shape & motivated. Hopefully they'll know how to effectively use him.......Keep him up top so he can "harass" opposing defenses with his movement, speed & strength to exploit spaces and get in scoring position.

3. Bradley should play his natural & most effective position - box-to-box midfielder. That's where he made his name, got his European contracts & impressed at the '10 WC. He's not a creative attacking midfielder & he's not assertive enough to be captain.

4. Klinsmann needs to use players at their natural position and stop trying to convert them in camp.

5. Defense still needs a lot of work.

6. A player I like, Jermaine Jones, didn't look good. Don't know if it was age, effects from last year's injury or a combination of both.
