SKC got 2 offers for this kid, the 1st when he was 16, from Juventus, but they turned them down.

The pool of youth players is very deep, and it has never been more talented & experienced, BUT they have some DUNCE coaches in the national program. For whatever reason, U.S. Soccer & Klinsmann keep ignoring the talented, qualified, experienced & successful youth coaches, and keep hiring their "friends".

haha. That is why I said a long time ago, development is one thing but coaches matter.

And who would dispute that???......And how can you have real development without good coaches???

Where did I say Real development can be without good coaches?

What is important is to see the differences in choosing a squad, in adjusting and instructing the team and if they can really impart what they want on the team.

While some of Klingsmann fellow coaches have top experience in playing the game they seem unable to pass it on to these youngsters at this time. Maybe over time some will become excellent but they way I see it they have made the youth teams look really ordinary. I will refer back to my what I said earlier about coaches making a difference in national programs. I am glad to see Lorne Donaldson and Freddy Butler in the Jamaica national program as they have a lot of experience in the area of youth development.
