Karl who is saying school have no part in development?
There is one big difference with the English school system that is taking place. A lot of run down, schools have now upgraded themselves and call themselves academies. Some are now sports academy where kids who are sport minded choose to go there and they build their program accordingly. One such sports academy is at West Brom and another is a school that Julian Lescott and few other pro players went. Can you think of any reason why this is been done?
Again one of the big draw back with our youths is the best are playing DCup at 19, most youths in other countries are already affiliated with a pro club by then. Yes there will always be the Wes Morgan who need to go to college before finding his feet and the Varney who will play in no name leagues, so there has to be comprehensive development that is taking place.- Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth.
