Well, if we follow him (Ranieri) his points should increase. He isn't playing in Europa or CL so he cannot avail himself of those points that say Wenger can... so he will have to depend on keeping on winning or not losing in the EPL. If for example he were to end up with the same win, draw, lose record as Wenger for the balance of the season, they would earn same points... however, if Wenger takes his team deeper in CL, he earns additional points...

These things are not perfect but I think you really need to examine what the designers built into the tool to be able to analyse the results sensibly.

Yeah, definition is critical that is why I focused on EPL with Ranieri, as you said if we do widen that focus then there is a need to start defining how many apples make a banana as clearly they are different fruit but the need is there to count success in cl higher than success in EPL question is how much more.
