That is a question that the players themselves have to answer and rectify.

At some point the players, warts and all, are Klopps. Klopp has said that he doesn't need to go to the transfer market in January because he knows that the players have the potential to play very well as demonstrated in several of their recent matches. So, Klopp becomes absolved of any "wrong-doing"? he is infallible? does he ever take any responsibility for a loss? but gets accolades (which I have no problem with) for great performances.
