Simon Dawkins did not abandon Reggae Boyz - Derby County

Derby County has denied a report that Reggae Boy Simon Dawkins left Jamaica’s training camp last week because he was upset about not playing in the team’s 2-0 loss to Panama in a World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium in Kingston on November 13.
A few days before the Reggae Boyz’ crucial away World Cup qualifier Haiti, it was reported that the player had left the team.
"I heard that report about him being unhappy but he is OK," Derby County head coach Paul Clement told the Derby Telegraph.
