Raheem Sterling is a better player for leaving Liverpool and joining Manchester City, according to his outspoken agent, Aidy Ward, ahead of the 20-year-old’s first game against his former club on Saturday.

And the winger’s representative has reiterated the move to City was the right one for his player – even if Liverpool fans don’t want to accept it.

This is a lie, moreso the coach.

The 20-year-old's agent, Aidy Ward, believes his decision to move to the Etihad Stadium is a correct one as he is being used in a suitable position

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling saw his development stunted at Liverpool by former manager Brendan Rodgers, according to the player's agent.

Sterling was involved in a £49million move to the Etihad Stadium during the summer, with his representative Aidy Ward criticised by Liverpool fans for his role in the deal.
