    David Moyes was finally sacked by Real Sociedad on Monday afternoon after just a year in the job.
    The former Manchester United manager knew his fate on Sunday night but Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay wanted to deliver the news face to face.
    When Moyes’ flight back from Manchester to Bilbao was cancelled their meeting was put back, but former Barcelona youth team coach Eusebio Sacristan had already been lined up to take over until 2017.
