Score: REGGAE BOYZ - Nil! Opponents - 3!
The Score:
Reggae Boyz: ..."displayed a wretched lack of concentration repeatedly.
Opponents: ..."rampaging Vietnamese outfit"
The Score:
Reggae Boyz: ..."caught unawares when the home side used its express pace"
Opponents: ..."clearly dominating the midfield in the second half"
The Score:
Reggae Boyz: the reality of exactly where these REGGAE BOYZ lie when judging ability to play football
Opponents: ..."ranked 142nd on FIFA's Coca-Cola World Ranking, were deserving winners".
Conclusion: Yet - many here claim it is great to start preparing for a World tournament less than...or, on or about 1 year away i.e. waaaaaay less than adequate time to prepare to take on TOP CARIBBEAN TEAMS, much less TOP OF THE WORLD TEAMS in a WORLD CUP FINALS competition...with your 2nd or 3rd tier players?
In any case, where is the logic in not starting with your VERY BEST AVAILABLE PLAYERS and at the same time searching around for players who are perceived during that period of preparation to have improved at a rate that makes them surpass some of those on the initial VERY BEST AVAILABLE PLAYERS...making for what was started with becoming even BETTER as time spent preparing...creating TEAM...goes by?
All things being equal how can 2nd tier players...advance over the same time...with same effort at teaching...and, same effort at improving/learning...attain the same or greater level of efficiency than a group starting at a higher level/several rungs further along the way to TEAM?
NOT POSSIBLE!
And even if we accept our JFF is currently working hard at failing - Our JFF has, in the past, spent less (money?) on preparations for failure!
Sooooo! what's the f@#$%^&*ing point???? ...
oooooh! - FAILURE!
BIG MONEY FAILURE!
