  • REGGAE BOYZ torn apart! Coach Happy with the result!

    Frightening!

Coach happy with destruction of the REGGAE BOYZ! ...

    http://www.reggaeboyzsc.com/articles...147&category=1

Score: REGGAE BOYZ - Nil! Opponents - 3!

    The Score:
Reggae Boyz: ..."displayed a wretched lack of concentration repeatedly.

    Opponents: ..."rampaging Vietnamese outfit"

    The Score:
Reggae Boyz: ..."caught unawares when the home side used its express pace"

Opponents: ..."clearly dominating the midfield in the second half"

    The Score:
Reggae Boyz: the reality of exactly where these REGGAE BOYZ lie when judging ability to play football

Opponents: ..."ranked 142nd on FIFA's Coca-Cola World Ranking, were deserving winners".

Conclusion: Yet - many here claim it is great to start preparing for a World tournament less than...or, on or about 1 year away i.e. waaaaaay less than adequate time to prepare to take on TOP CARIBBEAN TEAMS, much less TOP OF THE WORLD TEAMS in a WORLD CUP FINALS competition...with your 2nd or 3rd tier players?

In any case, where is the logic in not starting with your VERY BEST AVAILABLE PLAYERS and at the same time searching around for players who are perceived during that period of preparation to have improved at a rate that makes them surpass some of those on the initial VERY BEST AVAILABLE PLAYERS...making for what was started with becoming even BETTER as time spent preparing...creating TEAM...goes by?

All things being equal how can 2nd tier players...advance over the same time...with same effort at teaching...and, same effort at improving/learning...attain the same or greater level of efficiency than a group starting at a higher level/several rungs further along the way to TEAM?

    NOT POSSIBLE!

And even if we accept our JFF is currently working hard at failing - Our JFF has, in the past, spent less (money?) on preparations for failure!

    Sooooo! what's the f@#$%^&*ing point???? ...
    oooooh! - FAILURE!
    BIG MONEY FAILURE!

Not going to buy that. Another coach took a RB team and beat India handily. Now wi losing to an U-23 Vietnam side. There is sufficient talent in the NPL. Spoke to Nicholas Adderley who played in Vietnam. He is fully aware of their talent. No way should they be dusting us 3-0! With their U-23!!!!

In our last two games, we gave up goals in the 90th minute. Mek dis did happen to CB or Wendell! La la! Yu woulda hear how is a coaching problem, how dem nuh know how fi mek dem concentrate fi 90 minutes, poor tactics, horse dead, cow fat! But it happen under Bora, so it arite!

Really? Watch the U20 in their qualifiers, was that Bora's fault? Watched the Red stripe cup final, was that Bora's fault?

The talent is there. With proper guidance and support they will all prove themselves. For starters, it would help if the right set of locals were selected in the first place!

Anyway, not going to tek up this issue dis mawnin again.

Wait ... am I the only one that sees a significant difference between "talent is there" and "abundance of talent"

Right set of locals? Like who? When Downswell picked his first team, Comrade Balla (opps him sey mi nuh entitled fi call him comrade) say the team looked like a Harbour View All Star. When man like Jeffery Maxwell picked the team a pure Constant Spring balla (fi dem was dat) used to get pick. Anybody remember one Ramon Christan?

Bora going through look at the players ... him nuh have no preconceived notions.

So let me get this straight Mosiah. You are saying the other coach that got us to beat India, is better than the current coach that have us losing to Vietnam? what a thing eh? Where is CB coaching these days? Is he even employed?
