The irony is that is precisely the type(open play)of game that Wenger likes,Arsenal was beaten at their own game.
Chamberlain is underrated,and of course Walcott absence didn't help,either but surprisingly the player Arsenal missed the most is Welbeck.His presence would have afforded Arsenal the outlet needed to bypass the suffocating tactics employed by Bayern forwards which proved too much for Arsenal defense and wingbacks regarding getting the ball upfield.Comment
