Also Karl you notice how I defended you from the evil Scaly right? I put the evidence out there for everyone to see how Scaly tried to scandalize your name at after last year's picnic. I am working on unearthing the 2006 picnic pictures for further proof that Scaly's work rate during matches are not up to par. <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=5 width=152 align=left border=0><TBODY><TR><TD></TD></TR><TR><TD><SPAN class=Description>YOUNG ... stranded in New York due to Ernesto</SPAN></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><P class=StoryText align=justify>Montreal, Canada - Unlike his Canadian counterpart Stephen Hart, interim head coach Carl Brown will not have an assistant coach beside him when the Reggae Boyz play Canada this afternoon at the Complexe sportif Claude-Robillard Stadium in Montreal.<P class=StoryText align=justify>The Observer understands that Paul Young, former national player and coach of National Premier League team Portmore United, was more than willing to offer his service, but the passage of Tropical Storm Ernesto has prevented him from joining the camp.<P class=StoryText align=justify>The weather system, which has been fluctuating between a storm and a hurricane, is now dumping several inches of rain on the American east coast.<P class=StoryText align=justify>The former national striker is said to be in New York, but the bad weather has forced the cancellation of several flights from that area.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Last week the interim head coach revealed that he had identified an assistant coach, but was awaiting the announcement from the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF).
Still, Brown said he is not too worried about the unusual circumstance he's in.<P class=StoryText align=justify>"It's not very difficult here," said Brown. "Howard Bell (team manager) is here, as somebody who is very knowledgeable in the game, so anything that I have, I can bounce it on him and play around with it."<P class=StoryText align=justify>After yesterday's training session, a confident Brown said his troops are ready to face the task at hand.<P class=StoryText align=justify>"They are going to be ready," he stated. "As to the result of the game, only God knows how it will end."<P class=StoryText align=justify>Brown added: "My whole hope is that this team shows real good attitude and get out there and play as well as they can play.<P class=StoryText align=justify>"They are the ones who are here and they are the ones who I'm worried about. All the players who could have been here, really can't help us at this time. and this is what I have been saying to the players."
