He played 11 times during his short spell at Horsham and his boss at the time, John Maggs, saw enough to draw comparisons to the 1966 World Cup winning captain.
"I can see a bit of Bobby Moore in him," Maggs, 72, told Starsport.
"His anticipation of making a tackle was excellent, he always took up good positions, could read the game well, see the dangers and his timing of the tackle is the resemblance of Bobby Moore.
"Even at that young age you could see that he's got all the potential in the world.
