  • Discipline? ...now Mexico!

...did the spectators resort to the old disgusting behavior of throwing mixture of urine at the Panamanian players?

    It sure looked so.

btw - The urine was usually mixed with spittle in the old days.
Some of our former players even claimed faeces. I hope we have not gone to those old days...but I also hope our players are prepared for such possibilities and if it does occur remain mentally strong!!!

    Panama was oooh!!!...so unlucky!

Unlucky is putting it mildly; the first penalty call by the ref is among the worst I've seen... they would feel that they were robbed.

This Panama team is not easy... they will be a force to contend with. This tournament has demonstrated that the traditional CONCACAF powers can be beaten, and hopefully the approach when playing them in future will be a more positive one.

The red card was totally wrong! Yes his hand was out there but he did not strike the player!

Ref has a big team favoritism mentality. We know he would not quickly reach for the red card if baller was Mexican. An offside should have been called prior to the second penalty.

The Mexican picked up a yellow for an elbow in the chest of a Panamanian early in the match. How is that a yellow when the game was actually stopped, while the Panamanian's hand in the face of the Mexican a red card?!

This can never be explained or justified. Highway robbery!

You are correct. The ref was inconsistent decision following the 2 calls.

We don't even need to discuss the two penalties because it should never have come to that! The team that should have been down a man found themselves up a man. WTF is that!?
