Yes, Ja was better than Haiti, Haiti could not break down Ja defense and thus resorted to long shots, I will take that win, I felt no real pressure, except that I saw we were not pressing them high enough. With Watson missing and Austin having tough game, mcanuff was overloaded on attack and defense.
Mcanuff is the best player on our team, even at 33 in attack and he is amazingly consistent on defense. If Dawkins could play defense like macanuff man he would be great, he just has no d instinct at all.
Btw jam had the better chances than Haiti even with Haitian domination of possession, but truth is possession is nothing if you cannot penetrate in final third.
I am depending on Mo to answer that. I didn't see the game as the internet feed was horrendous, so I don't know which was the "better" team.
In the Panama v T&T which I managed to see from about the 35th minuteI agree the "better" team went through; based on possession, shots taken, (organization in defence the few times they were called upon to do so), passing and movement in attack, a general desire to play to win the match, and last but not least MARGINALLY better at taking PKs. You can add other criteria if you wish; I do recognize that "better" for one is not necessarily "better" for all.
