Laing played??? And he had a good game???.........Winnie finally called him up.........I've been calling for him to be in the ReggaeBoyz player pool for over a year.........His play improved when his club moved him from wing back to midfield.........Good for him. -

Just happy to see him back in the program. He was last there maybe 8 years ago or so. Not sure how it worked, but they said Schafer saw him playing for Edmonton and liked him, but someone must have pointed out that he was Jamaican. Good to see that the eyes are not all focused across the pond.
Laing has always had a quality cross. He has serious power in that foot and can score from freekicks. He does well when he keeps it simple.
I thought he and Lawrence were becoming predictable on the left side but I guess when you've practiced something in training, and you may not be sure of your status on the team, you try to work it rather than do something else. It should all improve as we go along.

Even though it was predictable in attack, they still pull players to their side and maybe one of the reason he could make those crosses. On defense it gave Lawerence a lot of coverage as Lang is also a defender so the left side is strong and well covered.
I assume as they continue to play, the passes and read between them will get better.
