We've been waiting, a few years, for him to step up.......This morning I saw an article & Wood was explaining that Klinsmann & the coaching staff has been working with him and encouraging him. He went on to say that they have also been helping with his club situation.........I like what I have seen in the last two games. Wish him all the best.

Also saw another article with Beckerman, where he said that he's in the national team as both a player & a mentor to the young players coming in.

Still think it's time for Klinsmann to move on from Wondolowski. He's never really been a real impact player for the USMNT, and I don't think he can do any better than the younger forwards in the national set up.......Also think they should give the younger keepers (like Hamid, Yarbrough, Cropper, Horton & Steffen) national team reps over Rimando, who'll be a 39 year old backup in 2018.

I saw the game!!! That's the reason for my post........Bradley plays some excellent long passes, but a little off on his short passes........Diskerud has improved. More physical; moves a lot more; and makes some good passes. He & Bradley could make a good central midfield (box-to-box) duo........Still looking for at least 2 good & consistent attacking midfielders.........Defense have a tendency to ball watch, especially early in games..........At his age, Zardes should have a better first touch & his movement & runs should be more purposeful.........Good performance overall. Should be interesting with Altidore, Dempsey & Bedoya in the mix.

Klinsmann didn't put Wood on the provisional Gold Cup squad. He's giving him time to sort out his club situation........Also heard that he left off Cameron because of some issue with his club........I see where he convinced Beasley to come out of retirement. I thought he would have called up Lichaj, who had a good season at Nottingham Forest.

Klinsmann has a very big USMNT pool, & it's growing. Good competition at every position.
