I didn't read the article but did he also say the only bread he's interested in making is with flour, water and yeast?

Does that mean he's stepping down as JFF president, if football is not his focus?

Read the article and felt as if that was an intended resignation but Incould have been reading too much into it.

Could depend on what Jack, Webb and others might say about their own previous distribution of bread.

When JFF was getting various loans, whose bread facilitated them?

How strange for the president of a football federation to say he is not focused on football right now.

Seems like Captain is feeling some discomfort.

" "I have a business to run and, at this time, my concentration is really (on that) ... Now, based on how the CONCACAF operates, it's a full-time job and my business is important," Burrell told The Gleaner on Tuesday night."

A little convoluted but the "it's" must refer to his business. When JW was elected as an MP in Trinidad, his role as an MP came under scrutiny and criticism because of his ongoing position as a FIFA VP, a position from which he had not then resigned. It was ruled that he could continue to occupy his seat in Parliament and to continue at FIFA as no rule had been violated.

Now, while that may have been so, I also thought that each role could have and would have had a negative impact on the other; I could imagine seeing the PM calling an important cabinet meeting including JW, only to hear he's in Zurich meeting with his other boss.

Anyway, the Captain should just resign. The JFF needs him more than ever now to ensure that the organization, FOOTBALL REALLY, does not suffer because of the recent brouhaha. The team is off to Copa very soon and they need to remain focused and strong leadership is now needed for the JFF. If Captain B. cannot provide it he should sepp, I mean step, aside.

According to the Bahamian chief $40,000 was placed in an envelope for each CFU member at the "meeting". Forum intelligentsia acting like Gov Christie on this matter.

There is video evidence of this.

Like mi say, "we" look the other way and we are conveniently silent on this issue.

                      ----------
FIFA's dirty money trail was revealed in pictures of cash in brown envelopes offered to members after a presentation by then presidential candidate Mohamed Bin Hammam.

The money was delivered to a Caribbean football official in an envelope which, the picture shows, has the word 'Bahamas' on it.

Inside was $40,000 - equivalent to several years' pay for many officials from the Caribbean's smaller islands - in four packs of new $100 notes. Members of the Caribbean Football Union had been invited to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Trinidad on May 10 to listen to Bin Hammam present his manifesto.

He is feeling discomfort because of the color of his "laundry".
If he can not devote 100% of his energy to football, then it is time for him to step aside.

Strange comments indeed. I was surprised when I read it. Makes me feel that he has doubts or is looking over his shoulder...

Some don't mind us looking the other way.

If this money was somehow finding itself into the country's football program then...but who knows where it goes when it is handed over like that.

But some of us can't help but support criminality and then they have a problem those of don't. Yes, I would rather be squeaqy clean and moral and the rest of it than act like a Jack Warner.
