And just think, a small thing like allowing video replays to assist in deciding a disputed call is still being studiously ignored... that's how they control the outcomes. I guess the "coqs sportifs" are more desirable (read worth more, so a €5M or so must have been a minor "investment") than men in green.

You hit the nail on the head. Video or other technology would create a level playing field, which was not in their best (corrupt effers that they are) interest.
