Slow Mo, yuh really neva ask yuhself, where Blazer loyalty lies and what was his influence on american soccer in his bribing era ? GC,MLS,USA womens WC , seeing WC 94 is ruled out as a non issue.... In 1989 Blazer convinced Jack Warner to run for CONCACAF president. Blazer managed Warner's successful campaign and was then appointed General Secretary.[4] The contract Blazer signed would result in his "Mr 10 per cent" moniker, as it included an agreement to pay Blazer’s company a 10 per cent cut of a variety of sponsorship and TV rights fees.[5] According to US court documents, from 1996 to 2011, Blazer made $15.3m in commission from sponsorships, sale of TV rights, ticket sales and a host of other deals.[6] He was the General Secretary of CONCACAF from 1990 until 2011.[7]
He was a member of the FIFA Executive Committee from 1996 to April 2013, when Sunil Gulati was elected to replace him.[8][9] Blazer also served as Commissioner of the American Soccer League and Executive Vice President of the United States Soccer Federation.[10]

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Meanwhile the T&T team has to raid their federation's offices since they never got the bonuses they were promised for the 2006 World Cup. And last autumn the T&T women's team gets sent off to WC qualification without enough money for equipment, hotels and even food.

      How about those facts?

But go on and keep praising the crooked old clown for his noble acts.

It is a fact Jamaica qualified for a WC under Warner ,it is a fact the USA benefitted immensley under Mr 10 % and Jack with various FIFA tournaments in the 90s to 2k,why this attack soley on concacaf reps from the carribbean ? why is Blazer the only american rep being prosecuted ? I find it hard to believe that USA soccer is corruption proof or Blazer is the only corrupt one in that set up.

        Call that praise !

The U.S authorities originally went after Blazer because of tax reasons: he had been living a multi-millionaire lifestyle without ever filing a tax return -- you think the I.R.S. was going to let that slide?

It was only then, when he chose to cooperate and start ratting out others, that it expanded to other FIFA officials and affairs.

The U.S. Govt. simply does not give a sh!t about soccer in the way you seem to think it does.

But all that seems to be contradicted by its pursuit of FIFA banking system ,its investigating the bidding process and lord knows what else , make no mistake about it ,the tax issue is a banking issue ,this has huge geo political national and international implications ,evidenced by indictments and resignations around the world, now you can sit down behind your p.c and ignore the obvious ,why would america ignore the chance to control a multinational corporation like FIFA which has such political influence ,the monetary is just the icing on the cake.Bring FIFA into the american banking system i.e laws and you can just imagine americas international reach around the world expanding.

Its no coincidence of push back by the so called third world, even some in the west are apprehensive, let see how this plays out.It sure as hell has nothing to do about americas love of football.

It is the Swiss government that is investigating the bidding process:

The Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland seizes documents at FIFA

Fifa crisis: 'Ex-President Mbeki approved South Africa's $10m'

South Africa's sports minister says the decision to donate $10m (£6.5m) to Fifa to develop Caribbean football was approved by then President Thabo Mbeki. The payment, which South Africa denies was a bribe to secure the 2010 World Cup, is central to the Fifa scandal.

The claim comes after a letter emerged that appears to show officials seeking an indirect route for the transfer. South Africa's government said the letter did not contradict its statement that this was a legitimate payment.
