World Cup???........What do you think about the standard of play???.......Have you seen any players that could be "stars" at the senior level???

The first game I had a chance to watch was the U.S. vs New Zealand at 3am this morning & that's because I got home after 2am.......Happy to see a U.S. team looking & playing so comfortable & confident with the ball "on the ground/at their feet".......Need to improve their shooting/finish.......Happy to see Zelalem & Payne start, & both had a very good game. Now I see why Klinsmann wanted Zelalem so badly & why Wenger speaks so highly of him.......Sorry that Tall is out, as I would have liked to see him up front with Rubin, with Zelalem & Hyndmann supplying the passes.

Zeppo!!! I heard, when the squad was selected, that Reading refused to release Novakovich.......I thought clubs weren't obligated to release players for qualifying but had to release them for the finals???.......Why was Gall, who was the Golden Boot winner at qualifying, left off the squad???.......Do you think Fagundez will stay with Uruguay or switch to U.S.???

There were "experts" listing Argentina (along with Germany) as favorites, but I guess Ghana didn't get that message.

Seen a few games. Brazil vs Nigeria was a very good attacking game of football.

The US beat Miramar 2-1 and Ukraine beat Miramar by about 5 easy goals.
Us got a very soft zone with Miramar and New Zealand. A win is a win still. I haven't seen any of the US two games but I look forward to see the Ukraine and other good games.
