Suarez left AND BR remained Sass.
Maybe other than being anachronistic ,given the Sterling matter, one should be questioning the retention issue.
Other changes were made to that Pool side, and Man U and Arsenal were far from the teams they are today.
Roads would have been blocked had BR been fired at the end of the season that saw Pool finishing second..

Again you don't answer my question. you playing dandy shandy.

You don't realize that you have the same issue with your player of the season. The only difference is he is approaching it in a professional manner.

Sometimes you can't stop your best player from leaving as Suarez, Van Persie and Ronaldo wanted out for whatever reason. You maybe able to hold on to some. Liverpool main problem was they were not able to bring in a good striker and your friend was all eXcited about Ballo. If Ballo had scored 10 goals maybe pool would be in a different place and don't tell me he was played out of position or didn't get chances.

Yes I did! just in the same way you DID NOT FOCUS on me saying elsewhere that I like Sterling and would like him to stay!! BUT none of the others at that age had such an agent in their sphere of influence mucking things up!!!

                How so???
By ending the season in a way best predicted by X.
Was X wrong about BR of the Suarez era?
Well in tge beginning X did voice opposition but at some point was open to the idea that just maybe the impressive period back then had something to do with BR as opposed to it being that time when the broken clock happens to be right. If finishing second is all encompassing, what is finishing sixth, and doing so in a disastrous manner?

Consider the question above rhetorical, you only have to answer the one about if you were disappointed..

So maybe the clock is broken this season so how can X be right then and right now???

Did you realize that Rodger got manager of the month, at least once this year. Yes he had slip and a dip but the season was close and he wasn't too far out of 4th place for most the season. Nobody except Chelsea and Manu having some joy.

Had Rodger not been unlucky he would have been a champion last year so don't talk about luck or fluke. Every other manager execpt Klopp that X wanted Rodger replaced with do lot of a record of finishing about Rodgers last year accoumplishment. Rafa was 4 or 5, not to mention Martinez, and all the other names he was calling, so how can he be right???

It wasn't until it became painfully obvious to X that Paul was absolutely correct about results linked to money spent, and this was after many months and posts of pointing this out, that X grabbed onto "doing more with less" . It is a mantra that suits his agenda and he's milking it for all it's worth... but the truth is that over time, this (money spent) will trump all other factors, even a "genius" coach like Benitez.

Sass, sounds like those filthy rich clubs should banging down BR's door begging him to be their new manager,is the fluke angle really farfetched?

Listen, how old is Brendan??? Most of the coaches of his generation will not be in one of those Super clubs for a while. Rodgers has build his cred as a good coach. He will get another damn good job. I don't think he will be begging for a job anytime soon.

After a year we will see; time will reveal all. He had a great season last year followed by an even worse than mediocre one this year. IMO, if he can't cut it he will have to go but he deserves at least another season of full support from both management and fans to prove or disprove himself. If the owners feel at this time that he needs to be replaced, so be it. What is quite clear is that BR, if he's kept on, will only have one more year to achieve stated (openly or not) goals of the club. If he has another year like this one, he'll be gone.

As you are an acolyte of X, I will say to you both, that you might have another year of seeing BR either achieve some success or fail as the case may be. If the club produces another year like this one, as I indicated, "dawg nyam him suppa". Be thankful you both have your clubs, with healthy income streams, in Manchester to support, I realize both your interests in LFC is an academic (and I use the term loosely ) ) one.

You still haven't answer my question going round and round.

Let me answer you. Yes it was a disappointment but if at the start of the season you could think Sturridge was going to be injured and Ballo was going to score less than 10 goals.

If you look on it, it was not a stellar season for Manu as without DeGea imagine where Manu would be. Not a stellar season for City either.
