Scouting out opposition for Copa America?

Does the Jff pay staff to scout out opposition pre tournaments, how much does Mcanuff or Mattocks or Barnes know about their opponents prior to the game, is this something they are doing on their own or is someone handing them a scouting analysis on the players they are most likely to face.

If this is not being done somebody needs to get riding fast, we must walk out of this tourney with heads held high, part of that is knowing your opposition prior to the game.

Thing is, how do you instill in your players that ability to engage in the chess match that playing this game is and that for full game at FULL 100 concentration and effort?

The game is best played by those who can optimize on excellent logical thinking driving excellent technical skills and physical abilities.

Karl, you should not have to instill at this level, you pick guys that are best all round which also includes being a student of the game.

Copa is the biggest tournament many of these guys will ever play why not know your potential opponents there is a ton of info out there.

Btw I am not saying anything about being in the stands, that is great, but right now there is a plethora of detail to be reviewed and somebody at jff should have a little team going through every forward, midfielder and defense and gk in the first three matches, understanding strengths and weaknesses and giving summary reports to the players for their review and study.
