    The final game of the season saw Steven Gerrard make his final appearance in a Reds shirt, but it didn't work out as planned for the captain whose side were dismantled by a rampant Stoke team.

    By the way that should have been 6-0, the goal Gerrard scored was given to him, pure and simple, the defender was closing out, saw it was Gerrard and just left him alone totally.

        He had a hamstring injury.
