Rockman - that argument of yours doesn't hold. There will ALWAYS be players available and always be good buys and bad buys out there. That's just how the market works, so while he could get a pile of cash and go and buy pastore this summer, he might wait until next year and pick up a better player then - and still get a pile of cash for Sterling.Originally posted by Rockman View Post
From LFC's perspective, Sterling represents a no-lose situation. They paid nothing for him, so there is nothing to lose from a pure accounting point of view. So I suspect, they are using this as an opportunity to send a message to agents of the rest of their squad - "don't f- with us."
