ELITE PLAYER???.....You consider Raheem Sterling an Elite Player???......So where would you put players like Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez & Neymar???

I think Raheem Sterling is a very good player who has the potential to be an Elite Player, BUT he has a ways to go & needs to be in the right system to help him get to Elite status.......Is Liverpool that team??? I don't know, but he needs to be at a team where he'll be starting & challenged.

Now we all can say Shaun is not elite. A few years ago, all of England and maybe yourself thought he was. How you think he ended up at a big club???

Name me the big top 5 club in England where Sterling can be a starter every week? Talking bout playing out of position, you see it with DiMaria, you see it with Welback, You see it with Rooney etc. Get use to it Sterling, you have to fight for your team. Come on Dunny, mi know you want him end up at your club but, Remember "a same knife that stick goat stick sheep."

Sass stop reason like you don't have any sense. How many times did Shaun play for England as a teenager? Did you have Real Madrid Bayern Munich and the other big guns chasing Shaun as a 15 year old? There are good players and then there is another bracket above. Raheem is not there yet but is heading there. Raheem can play in Man City Arsenal Man United and Chelsea teams week in week out without a shadow of a doubt. Could Navas or Milner keep him out of Man City's team in any of those wide areas, could Ashley young keep him out of United's could Welbeck and Walcott keep him out Arsenal's, he would make Chelsea's right side his. He needs to play with great players to become better.

AT 15 was he going to start in any of those clubs? These club chase talented 15 year old all the time. Some don't pan out.
Was Ballo elite??? See how him wreck his career?

I will bet you Sterling will not start in any of those teams week in week out. Talk about Ashley Young and you see Sterling weakness. He is not a good crosser of the ball and his left foot is very weak. The only reason you are talking like this is because Arsenal is the likely destination. Why you don't ask yourself if he could start on Arsenal team, week in week out. Welback and Walcott are not starters in case you don't remember. Same thing I told you about Welback when he moved but you wouldn't listen, that he would be a good pine player. One bad game and he will be rubbing the pine for extended period at City or Manu. Better than him on the pine and can't get play ala Di Maria. at Manu.

I know you are bubbling with excitement that he maybe at Arsenal but take off the glasses. You can't deny Rodgers has done a good job with the young man.

I can't see him ending up at Arsenal I think Man City will be his destination and he will be a key player there if he continues to develop like he has

Key word "If he continues to develop like he has". The problem is City record on development is???? Like me many are saying Liverpool is best for his development and been the man in the next 2 to 3 years. He is still young and there will be growing pain. When you see how players like Gareth Bale is treated at "Big club" makes you wonder if it is better to be a number at these club. It can kill your confidence.

Gerrard won more silverware before Rafa than after. Get your facts straight. The UCL medal was his greatest achievement, the FA Cup goal, his greatest goal and if you and the rest of the Rafaists want to give Rafa that credit, more power to you. However, you keep focusing on the ass-end of the horse, the real problem at Liverpool if you would take the matta outta u yeye dem, is not Rodgers, it is the fact that we have "paupers" who own the club. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that to get silver, you need LOTS of gold. It is JUST THAT SIMPLE. City and Chelsea have both proven it. So stick with facts and not your juvenile pettiness. AND THANK YOU JESUS FOR CANCELING YOUR MEMBERSHIP - LONG OVER DUE!!! How come you never tell dem u was a City fan? Nuh worry - me ago tell dem fi u.

You conviently leave out the issue of bad governance as if having a wutliss coach has nothing to do with it ,it will cost pool alot monetarily decreasing their ability to compete in midtable much less top 4.

Adresss it , FSG will have to ,like you.My canceled membership is one of thousands, yuh cant support almshouse.Your narrative is too simple to be excused as ignorance , moreso a calculated design to bring us to your level of thinking= midtable or lower.

He and his advisors know is status and that is one of the top 10 young players in European football, anyone of you on here think Raheem is ordinary needs their heads examined. Raheem Stirling is an elite player so I can't see the comparison with Wright Phillips etc. Liverpool has hung the youth out to dry by disclosing details of confidential contract negotiaitons to put pressure on him to sign but it has backfired. It was unwise to try and portarait the player as greedy, Raheem knows what he is worth and knows that almost every elite club in Europe will love to have him. Liverpool is no longer an elite club so for Raheem to fulfill his potential and go on to be one of the worlds best he needs a bigger stage, champions league football is a must.
I don't disagree that the UCL is big deal, but I do think you're pushing it to think he could walk into any big club braps jus so! Regardless, the real issue to me that people forget is that FSG have shown (with Suarez before last season) that if there is time left on the contract, they are not going to be pressured to sell. I can see them not selling Sterling in the summer and holding out for the January window or next year. They hold all the cards, not him.

In the last 20 years, when was Liverpool closest to winning the EPL?

How was that done if all Rodgers did is mash up the team and he is not a good coach?

With all the bad buys and mistake Rodgers made made base on your talking, they finish 5th. Still in Euopa League. Common sense would tell me supporting the club and it will achieve more instead of tearing it down every opportunity you get.

Given the massive decrease in revenue from cancel memberships, merchandise and midtable status ,you expect FSG to burn money through their ass to keep a wutliss coach who will continue to devalue all his players by extension the club to sell Sterling later.....ahhmm kinda risky by then Sterling would be worth the money Rafa paid for him.
