Apology for what?
He scored 2 goals and was his usual energetic self. So praise here, YES!
...but he starved his TEAM-mates of goal-scoring opportunities when it would have been easier to 'set them up' that pop and destroy his TEAM's attacks or just give away the ball. You think he should be praised for this latter?

Look, HL: You do not give the student 100% when he gets the answer right but the method is incorrect! That is 'buck up' result! You work at using the correct method as it invariable leads to good/correct outcomes. Man has 9 admirable qualities and you focus on one POSSIBLE flaw (I am not convinced that it is a flaw because of his assists) and this is what you choose to focus on? The man is not PERFECT no player makes the right decision all the time ..... Lawd man!!!

So you "dislike him" for his greatest assists. Putting himself in a position to score and make one assist and missing one??? Damn, 90 percent of coaches and analyst I know would grab such a player.
