    PFA Player of the Year

    Diego Costa, Philippe Coutinho, David De Gea, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Alexis Sánchez are the six players nominated for this year’s Professional Footballers’ Association’s Players’ Player of the Year award.

    Coutinho, De Gea, Hazard and Kane are also on the shortlist for the Young Player of the Year award, where they are joined by Thibaut Courtois and Raheem Sterling.

    Hazard is the only nominee from last year to make the shortlist for the senior award, which was won by Luis Suárez, while the Chelsea forward won the youth award.

    My piclks - The absolute standouts!

    Costa, De Gea, Hazard, *Coquelin and Kane. No one else comes close to their TOP OF THE WORLD performances.

    The knock against him is his late entry to the year's league matches. ...but he has been putting on top...very top...out of this world displays.

        Interesting list, but how does Coutinho even get in this conversation. He is not even Liverpool player of the year. He has four goals and four assists in 29 matches how does that qualify for player of the year award.

        I could understand if there was a stylish player of the year award maybe he would win that, maybe Ross Barkley should have had that last year as well, instead these media guys make a big deal of style and then guys like Barkley get selected to the English team on nothing performances and then everybody is surprised and ask what happened. So what has coutinho really done besides been a good, no excellent team player on the Liverpool not much else. Personally liverpool player of the year is Sterling followed by Can, followed by Henderson, then Sahko, then Coutinho.

        Player of the year is Kane!

            Eden Hazard - he has been outstanding and is influence on Chelsea's games have been the difference

              Without DeGea's many game-winning saves, ManU would be about 8th in the tables. His save against Navas last week and then his pass to Herrera that led to a goal was outstanding.
