  • Question for the Forum Intelligencia...

Using the word "intelligent" automatically "X"cludes certain, people, but I am a reasonable man...the question is open to all. So here goes:

    Q. Would LFC's season be a success if they finish out the top 4 but win the FA Cup?

Sure! ...if not lower than 10th!

            Paul bats for Paul

While I think Rafa inherited a pretty poor squad at Liverpool, and worked wonders for five years, Rodgers has done more than enough in my eyes to continue in the job.)

            http://tomkinstimes.com/2015/04/were-all-gonna-die/

Right before he gets sacked ,here comes Tomkins with a lifeline .Ohh please !

So was Wigan's season a success when they won the FA Cup and got relegated?

I think our Liverpool fans here have unwittingly admitted inferiority to Man U,case in point, the mere question would never be even considered if it was Man U.I believe parity is in the process of being restored,I do not fear Chelsea or City, and there is definitely unfinished business with Arsenal.Maybe it has a lot to do with the pathetic performances that last year's top four gave in the CL,I know Man U,the players feel invincible right now.

Rockman - the fellow Tomkins (who I am not a fan of like heX) made some factual observations that are noteworthy. In the age of the Prem, football has been relegated to money. In the olden days, when TV money was distributed evenly, clubs were on a more even footing. That is not the case now though I do believe FFP may help (not sure yet). There are some key things to be aware of when you speak of parity (which by the way - does not exist in the money age...where were City before the Sheikh bought them? Money is the biggest one of them.

In individual games all kinds of crazy **** can happen, but more often than not the teams with the costliest XIs and the highest wage bills win those matches (maybe 60-70% of the time). A team costing £1m can beat a team costing £200m, but it will almost certainly never finish above it in the league. This is a basic fact that people seem to misunderstand...

Liverpool's owners are simply too poor.

In other words yuh agree with Rock as per inferiority and this is where you xpect us to be , Tomkins also made other factual statements that Rafa with a worse team and terrible owners got more out of pool ,he also hinted that a youth academy is vital to bridge that gap, all hints to the way forward,if your low self esteem self can realise this.

You dont agree with Tomkins because he can prove Rafa is was and will be the man, this article was BR obituary, yuh say nice tings fi cova up di worst.
