Gibberish -translated ,in other words because of the change in formation the team looks like its playing to its potential now, because BR was afraid of being sacked.

and the development of the players ....

losing a player like suarz is a MASSIVE blow. some sides woulda completely be out of it....of course it is going to take tme and tinkering to adjust. that is what i would expect from a good coach, to make mistakes and then correct then and progress.

that is what rodgers is doing. if arsene goes, i wouldn't mind him being replaced by BR

"Too late for him" for what?

With respect to the thread theme, the way I see it is, he lost his two main goal scorers, Suarez in the off season, and Sturridge right off the start. BIG HURDLE. Couple that with a group of new players, I FULLY understand why the season could have, and did, start off on the negative side.

Whether it is fear of him losing his job, or MAYBE just maybe, players coming into their own, and a change in tactics, formation, starting eleven... whatever, it doesn't matter. What matters is that the team is "gelling" as the saying goes.

It is quite okay with the advantage of 20/20 hindsight vision to say anything anyone wants to say. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing to prove that had things been done differently outcomes would have been different given the number of new inexperienced (to the team) players and the fact that some players were getting on (who still were favoured starters). And since I alluded to it, I think that player IMPROVEMENT has made a big difference to the team. Coutinho looks like he is now a genuine goal scoring threat and Henderson scored a beauty in the last match. Can wasn't playing the way he is now at the start of the season. Johnson was starting a lot of those games and now the coach can be confident that GJ does not have to be a sure starter...five months ago he was.

Bottom line for me is that the team is doing well and therefore anyone who is a TRUE supporter will support the team, including the coach, AND NOT look for any little perceived flaw or slip, to start on a "get rid of the coach" campaign, citing past (perceived) errors of judgment, formation reh reh.

The team is bigger than Balotelli, Suarez, you name the player, TEAM must come first. I think BR understands that there are players (Suarez e.g.) who can be critical to the TEAM's success, but ultimately, he has to get a squad and system going that ensures overall success. No one is infallible and the coach may make mistakes, he's allowed that, as long as his successes begin to bear fruit and the "mistakes" not so egregious as to hurt the TEAM overall.

Big up the coach and I wish HIM and the TEAM all success now and going forward.

It is simple. The way how Rodgers dealt with Suarez and his trade, Sterling, and now Ballo tells me THIS IS HIS TEAM. He doesn't look for scape goat, instead he is always working to try and make the team better on his accord.

No player, no Gerrard, No Suarez, No Ballo, No Glen Johnson a go hold him down. You never hear him say he doesn't have the quality. I am not a pool fan but I love good football and a good manager.

It is simple, Rodgers bought it back to Liverpool.

As a lover of the beautiful game I loved how his Swansea players played and I do like how Liverpool is now playing and had played last year.
Peejay - calling for a change in formation when a season isn't going right is like calling for a band aid when you have gun shot (not that I have had a gun shot, but I am sure certain people that I shall xclude from mentioning have had a bullet in dem head). Said another way, it is only ONE piece of the puzzle. There are many factors that go into it. Look at heX's hero - Roberto Martinez - what is the enlightened one xpecting from him now? He has good players, a big club behind him, and let's not forget "he has won something" (a big prerequisite to some) and he is still struggling.

The ailments of a team cannot be solved in a few games; the integration of new players is not a foregone conclusion; and the results on the field have a lot to do with what happens off it. Rodgers has done more than a good job, he has done an incredible job especially because the majority of his players are NOWHERE NEAR THEIR PRIME!!! Peoplex seem to forget that. Mark my words, the demagogues will eat their words before he is done with them...he just needs a little more $ so he can build a deeper squad and buy a world class striker (or three) to keep the current players believing in their future.

Liverpool has not had a brighter LONG TERM prospect from the managerial perspective in 25 years...and yes...that includes Rafa. No one has gotten more from such a young squad than Rodgers. Period.
