  • People constantly complain about diving in football,

but I am not convinced the players are put in a position to dive. Yesterday watching Real Madrid v Villarael and Joel Campbell as he moved into the box he was impeded. As he stumbled he was successful to stay on his feet, but the stumbled caused the ball to roll out for a back kick. He was hailed for his honesty, but why didn't the ref seeing that there was no advantage not give the penalty? The commentators like me are convinced if Campbell had gone down he would have been awarded a penalty, so what are we to expect from other players that see that? No wonder some are so eager to be on the ground, you have to wonder if they're playing football or gymnastics.

It's the imperfection factor (human element) that gives the game of football it's massive following.
The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

Fine, but when a player goes down too easy, why then complain that he is a cheat?
