    Welbeck has made a goal for the GUNNERS...and h

    he has made 3 good opportunities for Spurs!

    - He has dwelled on the ball and lost it. Spurs counter down the left.

    - He has refused to play a one-two and lost the ball. Spurs attack down the left Danny Rose in.

    - He has under hit a pass. Lost it...and once again an attack down the left.

    All good Spurs chances.
    ...granted he is also working hard on defense...but giving away the ball consistently is not good!

        34m - For some reason Welbeck is slow on some ball?
        He never lost the ball. Made his pass and after a few passes we were almost in.

        Ozil is making his good passes.

        36 min. Welbeck wins ball in defensive 3rd...deep in defensive 3rd. Makes good forward run and interchanges of passes and GUNNERS eventually in on the left. Ozil (I think) pass does not connect deep in Spurs defensive 3rd. Great work by Welbeck.

          38M - Welbeck does magnificent work and wins the ball and then sits on it and gently gives it back ????????? Why??????

              Arsenal defense...TEAM defense great so far.
              Spurs attacks good! Excellent goalkeeping and good defensive work keeping them out so far.

                Welbeck again does good defensive work...and gets a caution from what was not even a foul! Ref messes up.

                  ...how do you judge his performance?
                  Involved in only goal. Excellent on defense when the opposition has the ball...but too frequent a part of the opposition's attack!

                  On balance what is his contributions - for and against - worth?

                  Just for the record - Have not used my slow-mo - the goal looks NOT OFF-SIDE..good goal! Spurs 0 - 1 Arsenal.

                    Yes!
                    I would take off Welbeck. He is on a 'yellow' and been committed in his defensive work. ...a 2nd 'yellow' and my GUNNERS would be terribly out.

                    Replace him with whom?
                    Not Walcott!
                    Sanchez (tiger on defense) ...and liable to give away the ball just as often as Welbeck?
