  • The D license change.

    This is no longer a state thing, it is now a National License so That is the big change. My instructor said the last class she had it was so full they had to group people to run a session, with one doing warmup, one doing drills and the other doing scrimmage. They definitely made it more work.

    No in Georgia(maybe the US) youth 12 and under are not allowed to punt the ball. This is because they want to encourage build up from the back.

    They are still fighting with what age should heading start.

    Saas - while it is a National D - it is administered by the States. The C on the other hand is administered by US Soccer. As far as the "punting" rule, they can kick it, it just has to hit the ground (or be played) outside the opponents penalty box. For the story on the National-D, see the second paragraph down:

      A few years ago when I thought about doing it, it a Georgia license like the F license but I was told it is now administered by US soccer too.
