Balotelli is not a good fit at Liverpool for the open dynamic style that they play. Finally they have decided to okay the guys they got together so Can, lallana, and Markovic all good with the ball at their feet.

Can't imagine what Sturridge's state of mind is going to be with so many injuries back to back, he is going to take a while to regain confidence and match fitness.

Never believed that 'not a good fit' when the subject is top quality footballer. The top guys have good minds. Quick logical thought processes and they have the ability...enhanced ability to adapt to environment as they maximize on use of individual player and team unit. It is the feeble of mind...therefore not real top quality thinker/player who cannot adapt to his circumstance/his environment.

Specific to Balotelli: A review of his performances show a player of quick mind. He makes the intelligent moves. He helps on defense. He is great on attack - runs, being in the right position and provides TEAM passes. His one area where production is absent is scoring.

On scoring a combination of out of character misses, unbelievable saves and poor decisions by TEAM-mates has dogged him.

Aside: Football - Sort of reminds of the situation the BoyU player, Radamel Falcao, is currently in. The difference is, on Falcao his coach/manager has persevered with him in the starting line-up for longer period. We shall see if Louis Van Gaal loses patience...?

Media - The media kills Balotelli but has been more patient and so far, 'softer' on Falcao.

They both play great intelligent TEAM football and both cannot seem to find the net with expected regularity. Falcao works harder. Balotelli needs to step up a notch.
