Jamaica’s Under-20 head coach Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore says a comedy of errors and poor planning resulted in the failure of the junior Reggae Boyz to qualify for this year’s CONCACAF FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
Whitmore says the junior Reggae Boyz tried their best during the tournament, but this was not good enough to qualify for this year’s World Cup tournament.
He says they have nothing to be ashamed of because the boys did everything they could do to make the dream possible, but it wasn't to be.

National under-20 head coach, Theodore Whitmore, says he will not be stepping down, despite the team's horrible performance at the CONCACAF Championships here in Jamaica.
The young Reggae Boyz crashed out of the tournament on Sunday, after going down 2-0 to the United States at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
The defeat was the Jamaicans third straight loss of the tournament. They were also beaten by Guatemala and Panama and earlier drew 2-2 with rivals Trinidad and Tobago.
"I won't be resigning. It is up to the president of the technical committee to decide," said Whitmore in an interview with STAR Sports.
He added that a comedy of errors and lack of planning heading into the tournament resulted in the team's dreadful show.
