Yes...The JFF is a fraud. Youth development should be their #1 goal at our deficient level. Instead they default and delegate that function to ill-equipped schools

Thank you Tilla those 2 show what can happen when the TALENT is nurtured in the right environment. This underscores what I have been saying all along. Include Sterling and Aaron in that category. John Barnes too if you want to. Can you imagine if Walter Boyd and Onandi Lowe and even Tappa had the benefit of a proper environment to develope their football skills from an early age, say 14 or so? Ricardo Fuller, Jermaine Johnson and the list goes on. Talent abounds! unfortunately the means to develope said talent is woefully absent

A few years ago when I spoke about the level of defence locally I was taken to task. Our weekest links were our defensive game and also using the wing effective. One thing we don't seem to understand going forward, we will never beat a good defensive team going through the middle consistently. We need to use the wing and put in good crosses.

Defensively I don't know we can blame the current staff alone, but are they playing real wingbacks. Our defense has been poor especially playing wing plays. We are not compact in defense and are not marking players properly. In the middle of the park we are ok.

We could have done better. Tappa had the team right over Christmas for at least 3 weeks and he had a few month before. If you have trained seal and you are teaching them seal tricks then it won't work.

Funny thing is my Trini friends were saying they had no prep and that ours were way better than theirs. Playing at home we shouldn't be this bad. It can't be too hard to find a good practice game locally for a under 20 team. They had a competition against international opponent recently.

It's stunning that people know so little re team development

This level is even more important than the seniors in my opinion.

3 weeks training and a few meetups before is absolutely pathetic for preparing a team for a World Cup qualification tournament.

This group needed a MINIMUM of a year (better 2 yeas) of training, touring and playing quality opposition to gell into an actual team. Outside that what we have is a collection of players ...not a team

People gloss over this foolishness and blame a coach given a basket to carry water and players not given the preparation to perform. Unnu have sense????????????

Accountability is not directed at where the real breakdown lies and that enables the JFF to continue the fcukery

many of our teams didn't get this prep and don't have the advantage of playing at home and do better than this.

Yes the players have to improve but so too the coaches. Don't tell me they couldn't play local games against NPL clubs. That is great practice for U20 teams. How much money that take?

If you look on the team you will see at least one of the wingback was very horrible, whose fault is that???? The team played with no width. That is definately a result of the coaching. At this stage I expect a little better. WE had some decent players out there who had stints playing with decent clubs, so what happen???

JFF have to take some blame but the coaches also need to be proactive and produce at this level. Most of the base is in Jamaica so they could have worked with them and not at the last minute.
