    PSG and Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic compares himself to Jesus

    "Before winning the 2012-13 league title, we were getting ready to play against Lyon. Carlo Ancelotti was a bit tense, so Ibra approached him and asked him if he believed in Jesus," Verratti said.
    "Ancelotti said 'yes', so Ibra told him: 'Good, so you believe in me. You can relax!'

      Was he playfully calming his coach? ...showing supreme confidence in his abilities and his TEAM-mates...showing an ice-cold mind in a situation that his coach found stressful...his comments were in such context...as he sought to calm his apprehensive coach? ...and is the writer in on that and has written a tongue in cheek print media selling article?

      ...or is it Ibra the conceited arrogant prick depicted?

      ...or this was a 'straight piece', reflecting the writer's thoughts but a misunderstanding of context and thus the supposed acts come across as true reflection of a conceited arrogant prick?

      Not important...so just bouncing it around a bit!

        Here are some quotes from Zlatan.

        "No way, Zlatan doesn't do auditions."

        Some time ago, when offered a trial with Arsenal, Zlatan flatly snubbed Arsene Wenger with this classic.

        ===========

        "Only God knows ... You’re talking to him now.”
        Prior to the two games against Portugal, the 32-year-old was interviewed by a Swedish journalist over the outcome of the games.
        The striker was non-committal at first, but once the reporter suggested it could be tricky to ask the deity, Zlatan gave the above response.

        ===========

        "One thing is for sure, a World Cup without me is nothing to watch so it is not worthwhile to wait for the World Cup.”
        After Sweden lost to Portugal in the World Cup playoffs last week, Ibra took to his app, 'Zlatan Unplugged', to suggest the competition in Brazil will be uninteresting.

        =====

        "An injured Zlatan is a pretty serious thing for any team."
        In his autobiography ‘I Am Zlatan’, Ibrahimovic discusses the problems his team-mates face when he is on the bench.

            I had seen them before!
            Do you take him as being serious? ...or is he doing "a Bolt" (Keeping himself relevant and in the spotlight...to maximize on future earning, maybe???)???

              Bolt being the greatest EVER is not debatable or subjective,drawing parallels between Bolt and the footballer is by itself along the same vein...... that resulted with the footballer in need of a reality check.
